i need to know if there is a way to turn off the feature
in the Windows XP pro wirelss service that scans for
SID's. I have set my WLAN as the default connection, but
there are many other SID's being broacast in my area and
my PC's disconnect from my LAN everytime another SID is
picked up. I would like to keep using the windows
wireless client, but need to find a way to get around
this. HELP.....

Make sure you are broadcasting your SSID on your Access Point, that your
network is at the top of the preferred networks list and that you have not
enabled "Automatically connect to non-preferred networks"
