Wireless Zero Configuration service doesn't start

I've recently installed a Belkin wireless PCI card and a
2Wire WAP for DSL service (SBC Yahoo). At least 50% of
the time, the wireless zero configuration service does not
automatically start, and I have to go into Manage |
Services, and manuall start the WZC service. Even though
it says it is configured to start automatically, it
doesn't do it each boot up.

Once I manually start the WZC service, I then have to go
to Control Panel | Network Connections | Wireless Network
Connection Properties, and click on "Use Windows to
configure my wireless network settings" box. Now, the
wireless connection to the DSL modem works. However, when
re-booting the next time, there's a good chance I'll have
to do it all over again.

I've checked the registry, and there is a DWORD entry in
the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Service\WZCSVC
section named start with a value of 2. I've also created
a batch file I put in the startup directory that is
supposed to start WZC (net start wzcsvc), but it still
doesn't always work.

I've just updated to SP2, thinking that would help, but
there doesn't appear to be any differences.

Does anyone have any other suggestion?

and i am also using Belkin PCI card. Were you able to find a fix fo

Perhaps you installed Belkin's software for the card and it's trying to
turn off WZC so it can do it's job.

Uninstall the Belkin software and use WZC, or use the Belkin software
and turn off WZC. Don't use both.
