XP Pro on IBM Think Pad

I installed wireless card and access point/router for
customer. The note book see's the wireless network and
shows that it is sending packets. It's showing that it's
receiving 0 bytes. At one point there was communication
and the customer called the next morning nd said it was
broke. I have not been able to get them to talk since.
Signal strength shows to be excellent.

D-Link products being used.

Thanks for any help.

I have experienced similar promlems on desktop PCs running
98 and XP with D Link USB Wireless to D Link DSL 614+ and
laptop XP with PCMCIA D Link to DSL 604+

Eventually got file and print sharing but no Internet
Access. Am looking at Steve Winograd's web site for
assitance and calling D Link support in Copenhagen via
0800 number.

Any device connected to 10/100 ports gets Internet access
right away
