I can connect the wireless direct to my nic and it works
without a problem.

When I hook the wirless source to my wireless router (
linksys) I have to keep resetting the router by pulling
the power adaptor or quickly touching reset. Then Im back
up to speed. A little while later my speed drops from 300
to 60kb/sec. Then have to reset again.
I feed my computer and my neighbors computer is fed
through the wireless. Ive tried everything, but admit I
know very little about networking. Could someone please
give me some advice on how to set my computer...win 2000,
and my neighbors computer win xp.

Would appreciate ANY help.

I don't have the solution...I have the same problem! My
issue has some variations, but it is basically the same.
The wireless access source drops its connection and has
to be power cycled to reestablish. IF you get a hit on
this, would you remove the "NOSPAM" from my e-mail and
shoot me an e-mail letting me know what the solution
was? I have an inquiry in to Linksys as we sit.

If you still haven't got a solution, it is the firmware for the Linksys
that needs to be updated. Check the Linksys site and grab the newest
firmware update.
It is a known issue with that router and the wireless connection. Wired,
it's fine, just not the wireless.
