Hello
I have an IBM notbook T40 that has windows 2000 pro. My problem is
that i can not nonnect to the internet using a wireless network. I get
an ip address from DHCP and i can ping the router, but i can not ping
any other URL or other computer on the network. by the way i have 3
other computer that connected wireless to the same Linksys router. my
signal strenght showed me a 100%, but when i go to the network
connection status i get 0 packets sent and a lot of packets has been
received.

help please

you can e-mail me at (e-mail address removed)

right click your wireless connection , under network connections>>properties
configure>>advance tab
make sure u have the righ channel and speed set.
get the values from a computer has internet access through the router.

Sounds like you have no DNS set. Try pinging the IP
address (not URL) of a few sights off you LAN, if you get
a response, your DHCP is not giving out vaild DNS
addresses
