Wireless printer and router

Hi,

I'm about to buy a Canon MP600R wireless printer. My current
modem/router is *not* wireless.
So I have probably have to purchase another wireless component as
well. The question is: do I have to replace the modem/router by a
wireless modem/router? Or are there any other (cheaper) solutions
possible?

That would be your best solution. You can get just a WAP (wireless access
point) but I would go the router route.....:-).
