Hi Tony.

I had the same proble I guess. If I tried to use the Wireless Link to find
the keybord it found it but the name was found as: CSR - bc2 and not
Microsoft keyboard. If that is the case I guess there are no other way than
to get it replaced I fear. I just did that today, but they didnt have any
bluetooth keyboard in that shop so I got a Logitec Cordless Desktop MX
instead, and ?50 refund.I am at the moment very satisfied with that, even
though it istnt bluetooth. That doesnt make the big difference to me, while
I couldnt use the microsoft BT tranmitter to anzthing else than the keyboard
and mouse. If zou need a BT keyboard and mouse then try to get the Logitec
Cordless Desktop MX Bluetooth instead, while atleast what I have heard it
should be much better than the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for
Bluetooth Keyboard. If you doesnt have the CSR - bc2 problem then ýou can
try the suggestions in:

Hi Guys,

Couldn't find the root of this thread so i'll post here.

when you see the box asking for a authentication number,
dont try and click into it...just type, the numbers will
appear in the box no matter where the cursor is, just
make sure you type them on the bt keyboard

best of luck
