Hi,

can anyone tell me how to turn f-lock on automatically under windows xp so I
can use the function keys.

Thanks

Nick

Hi, Nick.

You'll have a better chance of getting a good answer if you tell us the make
and model of your computer and/or keyboard.

For example, my computer does not have an F-lock. My function keys are
always on.

Nick was refering to the new Microsoft keyboards that make the F keys dual
purpose with other functions. Unfortunatly, I cannot find a way to make the
F Lock on by default on boot.

I have a Logitech cordless keyboard and it will boot with the F Lock either
on or off from the last setting you selected on the keyboard. I like that
feature. It will give you an on screen message telling you it is on after
the desktop loads.
