Can anyone help ?

My PC recognises the Dlink 802.11b wireless card fine, but
when I click on the view available networks, all of the
popup is greyed-out. Seems like XP is not able to control
the wireless settings. Is there a way/registry hack to
force Windows to configure the wireless settings (SSID/WEP
etc) ???

Any help would be very gratefully received. !!

Open services and scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration Service, Start
the service and set it to automatic. If it does not show in the list of
Services:

run regedit and find

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WZCSVC

add a DWORD entry named "Start" and
value "2"

Brilliant - give yourself a gold star !!

Thanks for the help, it works fine now.
