I am trying to network my two computers together (Laptop
and Desktop) I have a wireless router set up and I can
access the internet through it on both computers, however
I can not file share. I run the setup wizard and it says
it is complete, but it doesn't do anything. Can any one
help here?

I am new to this networking and don't know how to address you.
So far as your problem in concerned, I Read an artical using a cable
between the computers to thereUSB ports ( with Proper adapters ) and
then using the wizard. Hope I can find the article. I think it appeared
on MSM explorer front page. Perhaps you can retreive it.

I had a similar problem. I ended up upgrading the XP home
system to XP pro, now both systems run Pro. The wireless
laptop could file share with the desktop but not
viceversa.

Try this.

Try to file share, copy of pull a file from the folder on
the other machine called "Shared documents" I found that
that folder was the only one that let me in, even though
I had checked the sharing button on other folders.

Burrow down into "permissions" and you will see that in
there somewhere there is permission for "everyone" and
all attributes. Then see if the folder you want to share
to and from has the "everyone" permission. Mine did not.
I hit "new", put in "everyone" with all file attributes,
and it worked!

Try it and good luck.
