wireless networking woes

I am having problems with the wireless network in my
house. The wired connections work, and the wireless used
to. Two additional people got wireless connections and
now none of wireless people can sign on correctly. The
connection shows up on the computers, but does not allow
for internet browsing or any other network use. Every
once in a while I get an error that says "there is an ip
address conflict with another computer on the network."

Is there a maximum number of connections that can be made
to a wireless router?

Please Help. I can find no documentation on this issue.

JB,

The DHCP server on the wireless router should be setup to issue an ip
address for each wireless computer connecting. You probably set it up
originally to accommodate the exact number of wireless computers that
you had at that time. You need to login to the router management
program, and add to the DHCP client limit.

What make and model router are you using?

Cheers,

Chuck

Before you start any troubleshooting try this.
Shut down your modem and router for a few minutes. Restart them and see if
it resolves the problem.
Don't worry about a connection limit.

post back and let us know how you do
