As have many others, I too could not get Vista to let me connect between my
wireless network and the internet. I called Linksys about another issue,
and mentioned this problem, knowing that they would not give phone support
for a beta OS issue--but they did! The tech was very helpful, had me delete
the wireless network and then refresh, try to connect to the wireless
network again and this time enter the WEP key in the lengthy numeric coded
version that the router setup pages showed it. The little puppy connected
slicker than cow slobber!
Plus, this was on a Linksys router I had bought on sale three years ago! As
a result of the great customer service, I will never buy a different network
brand again! Good job, Cisco Systems!
