Wireless Network Showing up as Wired

I installed a Belkin USB network adapter on my Dell. It all worked fine.

Now the connection shows up as Local Area Network 6. There are no options
for nothing wireless. I chose to have windows manage the network when I
installed the drivers.

I just want to be able to choose my home network and not my neighbors.
