Can anyone point me to literature on how to set up a
wireless network with Win2k - I have 2 laptops - one with
XP and one with Win2k - I found all the XP literature,
but the 2000 literature seems scant! Thanks

With 2000, the config is usually handled within the configuration screen of
the Wireless NIC itself. If the 2 laptops are just going to talk to each
other (peer-to-peer) than setup the wireless NIC's in ad-hoc mode, name your
zone, and channel (if applicable) and they should see each other. That will
be the equivalent of attaching a crossover cable between their Ethernet
cards. Make sure that you set their IP addresses on the same subnet and you
should be good to go. If you have a wireless access point or router, then
setup the cards in infrastructure mode. Usually your documentation that
comes with the wireless devices has a lot of basics in it.
