Wireless Network Interference

I am having some problems with our neighbors wireless network interfering with ours. I have a new laptop and it connects to our network just fine, but then it picks up the signal of the neighbor's and it disconnects until I specify which netowrk to connect to. Once it gets connected again, it will disconnect, sometimes 2 minutes and sometimes 5 minutes later, but not long. As you can imagine, this is getting pretty annoying. I have tried changing the channel of the router, and have enabled all of the security features, but it still does it

Please help
Jack

disable the option to connect to "non-preferred" networks and set your own
network as the preferred network. You should be able to find the setting by
right-clicking on your wireless network card found in the Network
connections window. Find the Advanced tab and the setting is found
there............ I believe........

You should also check that 802.1x is disabled on your
home connection as the wireless service will disconnect
after 3 minutes if it is enabled and you are not using
802.1x.
