I am tearing my hair out (and haven't got much to spare!)
trying to set up a home network with my Actiontec
Wireless Cable/DSL Router. I have no trouble sharing
Internet access through a cable (set top box) modem but I
cannot seem to get my computer to acknowledge that I have
a wireless network connection, and I cannot therefore set
up a LAN which is very frustrating. I am using Windows XP
on both computers, and I have Norton Internet Security
running (which should not be a problem as I had a network
working fine with my previous computer and same Actiontec
kit. Router plugs into Rhinefast connection in computer,
and as I say, Internet sharing is fine.
Any ideas anyone - please!
