I'm having trouble with my wireless network connection. I got a router and everything seemed to work fine, but I'm now experiencing some problems and it is acting quite strange which seems to happen at random, and sometimes happens even when I'm not using the connection at all.

In the taskbar, a bubble appears and says:

"Network connection unavailable"

Then immedialy says:

"One or more wireless networks are available.
To see a list of availble networks, click here."

And after I click it, I get the connection back.

What's the problem?

UNmark 802.1x authentication
Start, run then type in:
ncpa.cpl [ok]
Right click on the wireless connection/ Choose propoerties/
Goto the Wireless Networks tab
In the bottom windows on this page titled 'preferred networks'
choose your home network name and click on Properties.
Ensure that the checkbox 'The key is provided for me automatically'
is not checked.
Goto the tab labelled Authentication & ensure that the box labelled
'Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network' is unchecked.

Your network is wandering. It needs to stay at home
because of mixed signals. It doesn't know which one to
use so what you need to do is reference Knowledge base
Article 811427 which deals with the Zero Configuration
Utility.
