Wireless mouse Interference on two computers

I have a Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse on two
computers in the same room.

When using the mouse on one computer, the cursor moves on
both computers. I've tried several times to reset the
channels, and have rebooted both machines, but the
problem persists.

What can I do so I can run both machines with two sets of
wireless devices?
 
I am having the same problem but the computers are in two
adjacent rooms and the receivers are at least 4 metres
apart. I have also tried resetting the channels but it
doesn't help. Does Microsoft not have any info about this?
