Wireless mouse explorer 2.0

Has anyone else found out that the batteries don't last
very long at all for scrolling?
Everything else works great but after a couple of days
the scrolling either becomes jumpy or doesn't work at
all. I have switched the batteries around and that helps
for a day or two, then the same thing happens.
Any ideas, could it just be a bad mouse?

What is the model number of your mouse ?
I use a Logitech MX700 mouse and the battery life is
excellent.
