I am unable to get cable or dsl high speed and for now stuck with dial
up to earthlink. I have recently purchased a laptop and would like
wireless capability and have not found a setup comparable to a
wireless router with laptop card for use with phone connection. Could
someone tell me if there is hardware of this type available... Best
regards...

Something like this would work:

It's a dial-up modem, with an ethernet (actually 2) port(s). You
could then connect it to a Wireless Acess Point (LinkSys or similar)
and be good to go.

You could also get a hub/switch and connect several other PCs to it.
Keep in mind though that the bandwith on a dial-up is pretty severly
limited, so any more than 2 computers connected at the same time would
probably become unbearably slow.
