We are planning W2K AD implementation on our WinNT 4.0 network. We have few laptop users who connect to network through wireless access point. I have three questions:

1. How can we make sure that the wireless laptop users are running anti-virus software w/ current virus definition file when they log in using Group Policy?
2. How is cached credentials going to work in this scenario?
3. Does anyone know any good books or articles on these subjects?

Thanks in advance for your help.

As far as I know you can not control this using GP.
Take a look at the "Corporate" version of NAV. It creates a server on your
network that "manages" the client computers by making sure they have the
latest AV.
Set the laptop as a "managed" client and whenever it logs on to the network
it checks and downloads the latest virus definitions from the server.
2. How is cached credentials going to work in this scenario?

AFAIK cached credentials are not going to change.
3. Does anyone know any good books or articles on these subjects?

Not off the top of my head.
