wireless keyboard and mouse problems

a friend has an AOPEN wireless mouse and keyboard which has stoppe
working suddenly.
They changed batteries and nothing and then ran the CD for them an
nothing happened. They put in an old keyboard and mouse but nothin
happens
Their computer does boot up but they can't click on any programmes t
run checks or use keyboard shortcuts since the keys aren't working

Anybody any idea on what is wrong and how to fix it

That's not a keyboard/mouse problem. The keyboard controller died. Replace
the motherboard. -Dave

|That's not a keyboard/mouse problem. The keyboard controller died. Replace

Or buy and install USB devices, eh?

is it connected via USB or PS/2?
