I have 2 PCs running Win2k, with MSI pc54g2 wireless nics. On one, the user
has admin rights and the PC connects to the network on boot. On the other,
the default login is a regular user account and on bootup the MSI Wireless
config utility starts but detects no wireless networks available. If I log
off and log on as administrator, the network comes up ok and when I log off
again and log in under the user account, the network stays up and connected.
What am I missing. I know it has to do with permission differences between
the administrator group and user group but exactly what I'm not sure. Please
help

I also have similar problems, tried to install the ZDWlan driver on drive D,
which has FAT32
but no difference. This weekend I'll try to see if WPA authentication has
something to do with it.

Or maybe http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;318710
has something useful.

WPA isn't involved, turnon encryption on/off (and booting in between)
didn't change anything.
I'm beginning to suspect that this is a limitation of ZDWlan.

Unfortunately, you may be right.
