HI,

I am using a wireless router DrayTek Vigor2500We.

Using an old notebook (with Windows 98), I have no problems to connect
to the wireless router.

Using my new notebook (Dell Latitude, Windows XP), I can connect
sometimes, but then the connection is lost. Then I see on the task bar
'Wireless connection unavailable'.
Sometimes, I see on the taskbar '

What is the problem with XP?

Thanks,
Nick

Check the properties of the wireless connection. Not needed unless an
authentication or RISC server is used: 802.1x authentication. This is
enabled by default and should be unchecked (disabled) for most home
networks.

Also, depending on the GHz involved, there may be interference from things
like cordless phones, microwaves and so on. Try a different channel to see
if that helps.
