Similar problem driving me crazy for 2 days. The whole
thing was working fine until I downloaded some security
patch 2 days ago (I think that was the problem), now I
can reproduce and fix my problem
If you click in start and go to wireless network
conection, right clic properties
Click tab for wireless networks
You see a box that says use windows to configure my
wireles network settings. If that box is clicked I can
not connect to any of the available networks, when I
unclick it the whole system works just fine.
If you click it and you reproduce the problem.
I think is a software problem of windows xp and one of
the patches that microsoft created.
Let me know if it works
good luck
