Hi,

I am using two USB wireless adapters in Ad-hoc mode
to connect a desktop and a laptop. I have recently
installed a wireless TV link kit and my network
seems to interfere slighty, so I want to change the
frequency channel of the network. You only get the
the driver for the Actiontec USB adapter so I have
to use Windows XP to configure the network, and there
seems to be no way to change the channel number it uses.

My laptop's adapter does come with a config and monitor
GUI that does let me change the number and it also tells
me that the current setting is 10.

Can anyone help me with changing the channel number using
Windows XP Pro?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

AFAIK you can not set or change frequency thru WZC. Use your adapter (Actiontec?) config GUI
to force the channel on either or both machines.
If this doesn't make sense, please ask in microsoft.public.windows.networking.wireless
