Wireless Booster

OK, not at home as living it up with my new Tablet, but thinking of home!!
We are with Sky Fiber due to location and have the orginal 2 boxes given by Sky and the signal is bad downstairs as PC & Router upstairs, all the rooms are brick walls hence signal bad, so thinking of getting a booster, but which one?

No experience of range extenders. However all the products I have bought after reading the test reports at this site have proved to perform just as the reviewer said they would.

Any luck on finding a good one OP?

I had an old Netgear one yeeaars ago which I used to get free internet for a good 6 months or something. Was looking at this (link to router comparison site removed) but I'm trying to get the signal out to the garden not sure if it'd reach from like the kitchen window or am I better setting something up outdoors.

Only even used one for the space of like two rooms before. :s
