I'm after some sort of deice that takes a signal off a Wireless Access Point and boast the signal. Is this possible?

Er?
Do you mean a wireless booster?

Call your wireless router an Access Point. I'm after taking the signal from around the house and then boasting the signal. Possible?

Not heard of boasting a signal?

Awwww cmon Feckit you knew what he meant.

Not sure mate, will have a look around and see what i can find.

The majority of access points can be setup as relays.
From a profession standard this is recommended to provide a node mesh.

However I do know that Apple make Wifi booster points that plug into power sockets, but I truely don't like Apple so I'm stopping there.

Follow this link. Basically that is what you want..It's a wireless repeater/booster. I got miine from Maplins for about £20. I couldn't find it on the site..But have a look then a little search around for better prices..I have used variuos boosters/repeaters and that is basically the best for home use..

Edit: Feckit, play fare...I'm the sarcy one..:p
