I am thinking of getting either a wireless or USB keyboard and wonder if, at
boot, they will allow me to get to the BIOS set up -- in my case pressing
Delete.

Thank you.

Jack,

You should have no problem, I once had a wireless keyboard/mouse setup and
never had problems getting into the CMOS settings.

Only if your BIOS can `see` the USB K\board. Go into the BIOS
and see if there is any mention of USB.
Normally when you boot your machine the USB drivers get loaded
on the way in.

It shouldn't be a problem. A wirelss keyboard isn't totally wireless.
You get a receiver station that is corded and plugs into the PS/2 or
USB port, as you would the cord from a wired keyboard. So long as the
keyboard and receiver's batteries are ok, the computer won't be able
to tell the difference.

Thank you all for responding. That pretty well settles the matter. I think
I will opt for the wireless keyboard.

You know, it has always puzzled me how to thank a whole bunch of people who
have answered my questions. I used to reply individually but got chastised
in some groups for wasting bandwidth with the individual messages so I have
chosen to be lax in politeness and just respond to the last poster in order
and hope I sleep peacefully tonight.

Thank you all again.
