wireless, and laptops

Totally clueless about wireless internet, and laptops.
Can't seem to find info catering to a newb. Any help?

Wi fi? I dunno :)

The same here. I just went to a hardware store and told them what I am
going to do and so I got the proper hardware. Setup was very easy as
the is not much difference in setting up a LAN or a WLAN in Windows
XP.
