Wireless Adapter

After installing a wireless adapter, my system can see the
access point but is unable to connect to it. This happens
with adapters from both Linksys and Belkin, both work with
Win 98 boxes so it it something within XP I believe. Tech
support from either company is unable to help. Any ideas ?

By chance is this in a Dell notebook? If so do you have
the adapter linked to the network bridge>

Have you specified the same WEP encryption settings on the access
point and the wireless adapters?
