WinXP with slipstreamed SP2 -- SATA drivers?

I have read that Windows XP SP2 installation discs have temporary SATA
drivers, making it unnecessary to go the bothersome F6 and floppy drive
route (especially bothersome when there's no floppy drive in the machine).

If I slipstream SP2 (using the full downloaded 266MB file) into an earlier
WinXP installation disc, will that also include the SATA drivers?
 
If you are aiming to slipstream SP2 into XP why not add the SATA drivers
from your mobo CD at the same time??

Yep, that's what I'll do if necessary. Being lazy, I'm just looking for the
easiest way. ;-)

And then there are some recent motherboards whose SATA ports are
natively identified by their bioses and can be used without having
to download drivers from external sources.
