Updated to SP3 and - surprise of surprises - it seems that
the updated version has smaller memory footprint!

In SP2, with just few apps running in the background,
the memory usage was 159 Mb. Now, with the SP3, it
is down to 123 Mb. Weird... (But I am not complaining).

My speech recognition and speech playback use a total of about 200
MB of RAM. Apparently Service Pack 3 can cause problems when using a
text-to-speech interface called SAPI 4. I had to start using a SAPI
5 voice for speech playback. No big deal.

Otherwise, currently, I have no problems/issues with Windows XP SP3.
The SP3 install didn't include Internet Explorer 7, for better or
worse depending on your system and preferences.

Good luck and have fun.
