No, update to a real office program,
such as Microsoft office 2003.

It's possible, but not natively. You would have to use an emulator. I
use Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 with MS-DOS 6 loaded and run any DOS
apps I want (usually MASM) in a full screen. But a free possibility
exists here:

http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

It says it's used for DOS games mostly but that DOS apps should run,
although printer and network support is weak. HTH.

Don't know about Quattro, but I run an old compiled Basic program on XP
Pro. I go to RUN, type COMMAND, and I've got a DOS window. When I'm
done, I type EXIT.

The answer is "quite possibly". I'm running a 1991 version myself for
one legacy application, and it seems okay in full screen or window.

Gee, that was helpful.

Perhaps you've got a few hundred dollars to spare, but maybe the OP
does not.

I must comment on this caustic rebuff; 99% of my daily work is through dBASE
V, an antiquarian dinosaur software, which works perfectly on XP.

I wouldn't say "99%", but I do have you beat in antiquity: my
accounting system is a dBase IV rev 1.1! (I wrote the application.)

It works almost perfectly in a window in XP -- the only problems are
that the cursor is somewhat hard to see, and I can't print to printer
from it but must print to file.

(Yes, I know about the "how to print from a DOS program" Web pages.
As I posted about a year ago, the advice given there doesn't work for
me -- I no longer remember the details.)
