Alright, my younger brother has a problem with a
*censored* of an Sys. Admin. This *censored* has just
quit, but before leaving, he screwed up the network,
buggering up the Internet connection in the process,
changed a heap of passwords (not as yet sure if it
includes the Admin account) and then disabled the System
Restore, which as you all know, deletes all previous
restore points. Now my question is this, is there a way
to undelete the restore points or are they gone for good,
and as a consequence, will the computers need to be
reformatted?

Short answer - Yes. You will probably have to reformat
and start over. Once you turn off the system restore,
the system will remove restore points. Sounds like when
*censored* got ready to leave somebody should have picked
up on his intentions and removed him IMMEDIATELY from any
computer access.

Dan;
Once the Restore Points are gone, that is it.

Considering the circumstances, a reload is necessary in any case since
it would be impossible to know exactly what else he may have done.
He may have given himself access you may not be able to discover.

If you can prove what you say, you may have grounds for legal action.
Keep accurate records of everything you have to do that may be even
remotely involved.
