I'm trying to remove Incredimail from my father's machine, which has WinXP
Home Ed. The best I could find was the following article:
http://www.oeupdates.com/Uninstall-remove-IncrediMail.html
and I followed as much as I could, but apparently Incredimail has moved much
of its information to different places. I removed everything that I could
find (files, folders, registry keys, etc.) that was in the article, though.
There is a folder of registry keys, located at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Incredimail
Will it harm the machine to delete that entire folder from within the
registry? If so, does anyone there have experience with Incredimail
removal. It had appeared gone, but I'm having strange browser display, so I
downloaded Firefox to see what it would look like, and the first thing it
did upon Mozilla installation was changed my default search to incredimail,
which is what made me look through the registry, yet again, only to find
what I entered, above. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
