winxp problems

I can't get win xp to come up when I boot my computer.
All I get is a blank screen with a cursor blinkong in the
upper left hand corner. I can't get into the computer at
all. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a video driver problem. Reboot the computer
and hold down the F8 key before it starts booting. A
menu will display for boot options. Trying going in to
safe mode and see if that works. If it does, go in and
delete you video card under the device manager. Reboot
the computer and allow windows to re-detect your video
card. I can't promise it will work, but it's worth a
shot. Good luck.
