WinXP Home Filenames

I have Windows XP installed on my system and noticed here in the last couple
of weeks that when I go to open files from different applications that some
of the filenames the text is blue. What is causing that or is it normal? I
was on one of the computers at work today and noticed the same thing also.

That means the file is either Compressed or Encrypted. Both of these are
functions you can do on NTFS file system. If you right click on the
file, choose properties and then advanced you can tell which has been
done to the file.
