WinXP Home Acess Denied

Cracker Jacks

I installed a game, when I try to run it, Winxp says Access Denied, Log On
as administator. I am still learning XP. Any help appreciated.

Are you trying to run the program from a limited account?

No I have all the accounts set to admin. I even re-booted in safe mode as
admin and I get the same result. Is it possible I disabled a service that
should be running to account for this? Maybe something in the admin priv. I
need to set? I am so confused as to how they work so I have not changed
anything in there.

Hi,

Restart in Safe mode, check tehe permissions set on the system folders for
the user accounts. It wouldn't be a service, the error clearly indicates an
inability to access needed files. Users will need at least read & execute,
and may also need write permissions for some programs.
