WinXP HE doesn't see inserted NIC

Hello.
Problem as written in the subject. Network card works well in other
computer. When inserted to this one, WinXP cannot see it. Even when I
run Add new hardware wizard. Nothing happens.

After POST, bios displays info about Communication Device so it is seen
by bios.

Does anyone had same problem?
Please help.

It's a PCI Surecom EP-320X-R1 based on popular RTL8139D. It's not seen
in System/Device manager.

I did. I checked slots settings in BIOS. I've even put it in replacement
of a modem card. Nothing.

The slot isnt disabled in the bios?
