Hello, I am wanting to install XP Professional to my new computer and want to
know if this will be compatable with my new Hardware.

AMD K7 Phenom Quad Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DG6 Mainboard
8GB (Vista Reads 8190MB) DDR667 RAM
OS HDD - 320GB SATA 32MB Cache
SATAg SCSI RAID1 - 2x 1TB 32MB Cache HDD's
256MB DDR3 XFX Video Card

If anyone can let me know if XP Professional will make the power of this
hardware usable it will be great to know. This system is currently running
Windows Vista.

Thank You

XP 32 bit will not support more than 4 gigs of RAM...
but XP 64 bit can make use of 8 gigs of RAM (and more)...
so if you can get 64bit drivers for all your hardware...use XP-64bit

(Both versions of XP support multi-core cpu's)
