What is the CD0 folder in WINXP? What purpose does it serve?

Can it be deleted?

I do not have this here so I think it is not part of a standard
Windows installation. Rename the folder to TEST_CD0 or something like
that and wait and see if this causes any problems. If no, the folder
is obviously no longer in use.

I shall try. The strange thing is it does not allow for Delete. Not even not
the individual files within it. Not even in Safe Mode.

But I shall try to rename and see whether I can eventually delte from there.

I did all that before posting. Did not work.

BUT --
I DID get rid of the folder and contents via a downloaded ACTIVE ERASER
version 4.0 Demo version. Worked beautifully..
