Finally I got my "mixed" network running, using NetBEUI
protocol on all computers. According to multiple experts
(browse the network newsgroup just a few days back) this
is completely wrong! A number of nice Very Valuable
Program or whatever Certificate holders (certificates that
are basically a recognition of the incompetence of the
Microsoft Engineers to make the operating and other
systems function properly) is pointing to their own
websites where you will finally end up with consultants
willing to help you out (not for free of course). Is
anyone, for instance someone working with Microsoft,
willing to explain in understandable language and free of
cost how to make a mixed home network of WinXP and Win98
running without using NetBEUI?
