Are you aware of any of the following issues/fixes for the following 2
glitches (if not, could it be a problem with hyperthreading)?:
<hardware is ASUS P4P800 motherboard/WinTV PCI with 878 chip/NVidia 4400
SVGA/Pentium 4 3Ghz/Creative Live!/512 Mb RAM/Win XP home> <newest drivers
& BIOS for all>.

Random freeze up of image in WintTV (32 & 2000) application but sound is ok,
then when you shut it down you have to use the task manager to kill the
process <multiple times>.

No audio from WinTV when PC recovers from from standby/hibernation mode.

I've tried:
verified the card is 100% on three other PCs (using same video card/audio
card/IN XP home and Pro).
performed clean install/reinstalls of WinTV driver and apps (no difference)
moved card to different PCI slots (no difference).

Thanks a million in advance!!

a shot in the dark, have you tried moving to another pci slot, and then
reinstalling drivers (so not to cause conflict with old IRQ#'s)

Hi

I'm not sure what could be causing the first problem but I (did) have an
email from Hauppauge Tech support once telling me that WinTV PCI cards do
not function after a PC re-started from either suspend or hibernation modes.
I was having the same problem on my WinXP, Gigabyte, AMD 1700+ system.
