Whats up with this?
The quality of films in movie maker is just so great...
However.. When adding snow... The quality drops to about the lowest
quality..

Ive tried just about anything... I dont care how its done, but I want snow
on this film!

Even if I have to wait for a day with snow falling, and setup a blue screen
and film it.. But thats not gonna happen before my deadline..

The Snow Show is important, as its our free gift to people... And its due
for december 1st. this year

Actually... The quality in preview mode is very good.. No matter what I do..

Its the final movie thats affected by the snow!

Could you please clarify what you mean by "lowest quality"?

The degradation in quality could be attributed to having
lots of effects or transitions on your project. You could
also try to publish out at a higher quality setting
(depending on how you plan on sharing your movie.

Creating the file in a higher quality is not possible.. And its not caused
by alot of effects.. Snowflake is the ONLY effect in the project.. And the
ONLY effect that ever causes this..

Ive reinstalled both windows, mm2 and winter funpack MANY times.. allways
with the same result

I just did a snow test.... 20 second clip saved as DV-AVI..... with and
without snow.

Maybe I'm not as discerning as you, as they look pretty much the same except
for the snow. I expect the re-rendering to add the snow to have some effect
but I can't see it looking one at a time, not side by side.
