This shows up in the System 32 folder as PurityScan, and
in the task manager as winservn.exe and after I blocked
Internet access for it I havent been getting all the pop
ups. My question is how can I delete the program, because
when I try to delete it I get an error message state that
I should make sure that the disk is not full or is not
write protected. Thanks

Hi,

winservn is in spyware, coming from purityscan and will
generate a lot of unwanted pop-ups. (see
http://www.cexx.org/winservs.htm). However
in this case it is started from
HKEY_current_user/software/windows/currentversion/run. it
refers to windows/system32/winservn.exe.

Stop the process with the task manager Remove the register
entry with regedit Remove the program from the
windows/system32 directory(the Icon will show a "P".
Remove purityscan link from the startmenu. remove
purityscan program from the programfiles/purityscan.

Thanks.
