R Rick Rogers May 10, 2008 #2 Hi, Sounds like the Rbot bug. Your AV software removed the file but not the registry reference that loads it. Run regedit from the start/search line, navigate to these keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices Click on each in turn, then check for a string that loads it on the right. Select and delete just that string from the right pane. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com
