hi...
Installed WINS server on Windows 2000 server and also set the WINS IP
address in TCP/IP properties...when i open the WINS in administrative
tools...red cross appears at WINS and error is "The Network Path was
not found"
Suggestions/Recommendations are highly appreciated

Umer
Is the server dual homed (more than one NIC)? If so, that can be
problematic.
When you manually add the server by name, does it connect? How about when
you add it's IP address?
Did you also reinstall the service pack after installing WINS, unless you
used an SP4 integrated i386 source (or whatever service pack you are using)?
