Winpopup or equivalent?

Our office has just migrated our desktops from
Windows95/98 to 2000 professional. We used to run a nice
little utility called Winpopup that allowed us to
communicate user to user. I don't see anything in Windows
2000 like this. Is there something in 2000 or a 3rd party
utility out there somewhere?
 
net send would be the equivalent. From a command prompt
net send /?
for the syntax.
