Yes. PE will recognize the standard XP-Prof USB Devices.
I have also a PE System on a bootable CD in a USB-CDRom.
This works fine.
...but only standard drivers....
I don't know, if there are some USB ETH cards in or not.
You can try this very simple. Boot from the first XP-E Toolkit CD with
your USB ETH device connected and try then to connect to a network.
